Like your own pied a terre in beautiful Amsterdam
We stayed in World fashion apartments last week in Amsterdam. It is very comfortable, big, clean and quiet place to stay. We had originally planned to be here with my sister and her family and unfortunate last minute health issues cancelled their stay so we had a 3 bedroom place to ourselves. The apartment is one train stop away from the airport (Lelylaan) and there are 2-3 tram lines running within blocks of apartment, as well as buses. 2 supermarkets are in nearby (Albert Heijn, Lidl) that also has a Chinese and Turkish restaurants, a produce place selling fresh fruits, nuts, Turkish goods and a cheap housewares and shopping place (household items, linens, towels, soaps, art stuff, plastic storage ware, clothing, etc). On the same block as your apartment is Corner Bakery (great breakfast and lunch fare, great coffees and teas, baked goods [try their gluten free lemon cake), Aries (Indonesian fare) and a food kiosk selling fish (smoked, fresh herring, fried fish). The interior of the apartment is well maintained, with big comfortable furniture and the beds were very comfortable as well (slept soundly all week). Bathrooms are big, the master bath has a huge tub (we never really ended up using it). The kitchen has a big dining table that would sit 6-8 people comfortably. Appliances/equipment are modern and functional, including combo oven/microwave/grill and washing machine and clothes dryer (pack lightly!).
I echo reviewers in saying the best thing about the apartment are their staff who were available by email and phone. Though the office is closed on weekends, they are reachable and can check you in during off hours (we came at 6pm on a Saturday).I’ve recommended World Fashion apartments to friends, coworkers and family and I would stay here again. Great place to Stay!!
World Fashion Apartments are world class apartments and this place is situated in a very convenient and quite location. You can reach there by any public transport – train, metro, or tram. All the stations (Lelylaan, Heemstedestraat and Derkinderenstraat) are in a walking distance of 5-10 mins max. You also have all the important stores like Albert Hein, Lidl, Action, etc. nearby and some good restaurants as well. In fact, there are few eating joints / coffee shop in the compound itself and couple of street food vendors/kiosks outside the compound. I’ve tried one of them (I think it was Turkish) and it was good. In terms of interior of the apartment, I would say it is quite big and maintained very nicely, very clean, rooms are with wardrobe, bathroom has both bathtub and separate shower area, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the high-end equipment and utensils. The best thing is that their staff is very supportive and proactive. I’ve landed on Sunday morning, and still able to check-in quickly without having to wait for earlier client to vacate, cleaning, etc. Thi
